Which of the Renfrow+Co points of emphasis resonates the most with you?

Imagination Translated. To me, it means we take the client’s initial idea, which might be just a little paper sketch of a swing or shade structure, and help design and bring that idea to life. We take their imagination and translate it into something that can be built in the shop and installed on the client’s property. I think that’s fantastic.

What is your favorite thing to do in Houston?

I’m a homebody! If I don’t have to leave the house, I stay home and read, it’s one of my favorite things. I also used to cross-stitch.

If you could be anyone from any time period, who would it be and why?

I don’t want to be anyone else! I’d rather go back and change some of my past decisions with the knowledge I have now.

What has been a career highlight or accomplishment that you’re most proud of?

I’m most proud of making the change to leave my long-term job at the hotel and start something new here. It was a big leap of faith since I don’t like change, and I didn’t know what to expect.

What's your go-to way to recharge after a busy week?

I recharge by staying home, reading, and having the TV on for background noise. I also enjoy spending time with my kids.
