Sasha Martinez

Before she helped bring colorful art pieces to life, Sasha was a front desk coordinator at a veterinary hospital, assisting all kinds of animals. Now, she helps translate our clients’ imaginations into reality, a job she loves and takes very seriously. She gets her work ethic from her grandpa, who moved from Mexico and started his own company. Her secret skill? She’s a pro-level video game player and used to get paid to stream.

What do you enjoy most about working at Renfrow+Co?

I’m always busy and the team here is great. I enjoy the products that we make for our clients.

What would people never guess you do in your role?

I do everything an admin does. But they probably wouldn’t guess that I often pick up supplies that we need for jobs, too.

Which of the Renfrow+Co points of emphasis resonates the most with you? (Imagination, Translated, Creative Craftsman, Deep Knowledge, Meticulously Artistic)

Imagination Translated is my favorite. Not everyone can bring imagination to life, and we do that.

What is your favorite thing to do in Houston?

Eat! I really enjoy Vietnamese food a lot. I love egg rolls, spring rolls, and pho. Seafood is good too. My favorite restaurant is The Heights Asian Cafe.

What advice would you give a candidate wanting to join our team?

I would tell them that they’ll love the environment here. You’re always learning something new. And don’t expect to be in the same position for too long because we’re always growing.
