What do you enjoy most about working at Renfrow+Co?
The enthusiasm. Overall, the morale here is high and it motivates the team to work well together. A lot of companies fail to recognize how important this is. At Renfrow, if there are issues, management addresses them.
What would people never guess you do in your role?
I’ve been in this industry for a long time, and have done almost every role at some point in my career. I started as a welder, then worked in a motorcycle shop where I developed an interest in mechanical engineering and decided to pursue that in school. Then somehow I ended up in architecture.
What advice would you give a candidate wanting to join our team?
Be open-minded about new suggestions and ideas. And be willing to take constructive criticism.
What is your favorite thing to do in Houston?
Go-Karting. My favorite track is the Houston Karting Complex.
The best piece of advice I've ever been given is:
Don’t cut yourself down.
